Visiting a church can be like going on a blind-date — there’s great potential, but there are also lots of unknowns. We hope the information below will minimize the unknowns for your first visit to Grace. So here’s what you need to know:
Dress for Sunday morning worship ranges from casual or business casual to business professional dress. Those attending service throughout the week typically dress in a very relaxed or casual manner. Nevertheless, we adopt a “come as you are” dress code.
There’s plenty of it, but it goes fast. We tell our regulars to park away from the building to leave spots in the front open for you. Feel free to park in one of the spaces that we’ve reserved for you.
You’ll be greeted warmly by some friendly people. These “greeters,” as we call them, will hand you a bulletin and direct you to the main sanctuary. If you have children, they will be glad to escort you to the children’s facility. If your child is shy, feel free to keep them with you in the adult service.
Our services begin on time and usually last for 2 hours. We have praise and worship for approximately 30 minutes, followed by a time of prayer, and then a relevant message from Pastor Forté that you will immediately be able to apply in your everyday life.
For the kids?
Quality children’s programs are offered at all weekend services. Our Children’s Ministry entrance is located to the left of our main entrance. Because your kids’ safety is of utmost concern to us, all workers are trained and cleared through a local and federal background check.
For the older kids?
L.I.V.E. Teens meet during Sunday morning services for a time of relevant and impacting discussion on the topics teens face today.
Immediately following service, please join us in our hospitality room located just off the main sanctuary. Pastor Forté and First Lady Linda will be eager to meet you and thank you for visiting.
